Sonapyrdi Tourism Economic Development Society (STEDS) will be organising a beauty pageant, in which the winner will be crown with the first ever title of 'Miss Lukha 2020' along with cash prize on the occasion of Lukha festival ( which is named after one of the biggest rivers in the Jaintia Hills region ) to be held in January 31st and 1st February /2020. The two-day festival will be held near the bank of the Lukha River, which is located in East Jaintia Hills District’s Narpuh Elaka.
Cash Prizes for the beauty contest are as follows :
Winner : Rs 20,000
1st Runner's Up : Rs.10,000
2nd Runner's Up : Rs. 5,000
