In a grand way the new Meghalaya Tourism logo was lauched at the Indian Super League (ISL) match held in Guwahati on 26th November 2019. During the event cultural dances of the state were performed. The natural beauty of the state is the theme of Meghalaya Tourism's new logo, some of the famous icons of Meghalaya can be spotted in the logo like the pitcher plant, double decker living root bridge in Nongriat , Umngot river etc.
The Meghalaya Tourism logo was selected from the invited applicants for the tourism logo contest for its publicity and branding purposes.
