The District Administration of West Garo Hills, in collaboration with Camp Dony Polo, Tezpur Bikers, Monster Energy and Drops Apparel will organise a cycling expedition to spread awareness on clean and green environment.
The 5-day long ride will commence from the city on Tuesday to Nagaon, Assam followed by visits to Tezpur, Assam on Wednesday, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday and will culminate at the census town, Ziro of Arunachal on Friday, thereafter, the cleaning drive will be held at Ziro on Saturday.
The cleaing drive will also be organised at Tezpur with the help of Tezpur Bikers.
The bikers will cover a distance of 501 km (Shillong to Ziro).
The participants of the ride include the world record holder from Meghalaya Winward Sangma (Bmx'er), followed by a biker all the way from France Valentin Baron (Biker), Chirangka Marak (Cyclist), Giovani Majaw (Skater) and Hopesent Marak (Cyclist).
