Recipe for Banana Puri by Noami's Kitchen

Dry ingredients :----


Carom seeds/Azwain : 1 tea spoon

Black pepper/ kali mirch : 1 tea spoon


Wheat flour : 4 cups

Refine flour : 2 cups

Baking soda : 1/2 tea spoon

Salt to taste

Oil to fry


Raw ingredients :------------


Ripped banana : 1/2 kg


Procedure :-------


Mix carrom seeds, black pepper, 2 tea spoon of oil, one pinch of salt in the wheat flour and refine flour.


Add raw banana and water. Then make a soft dough and keep aside for 6 to 8 hours.


Roll thick round roti/ flat bread/ tortillas and deep fry in oil till it becomes golden brown.


Have it immediately with desired chutney or sauce when it is still warm.
