Dhanya Panjiri

Recipe for Dhanya Panjiri for Prashad by Noami's Kitchen


Dry ingredients :----


Coriander seeds/ dhanya seeds : 50 grams 

Almond/ badam: 100 grams 


Raisin/ khismis : 100 grams


Cashew nut/ kaju : 100 grams


Rock sugar/Mishiri : 50 grams

Clarified butter/Ghee : 2 table spoon


Raw ingredient:


Indian basil leaves /tulsi patta


Procedure :-------

Grind all the dry ingredients together except the Ghee. 


Heat Ghee in a pan and saute the power of the dry ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes. 


Let it cool down for 2 to 3 minutes and it is done. 


Place few leaves of tulsi/Indian basil on top of the prashad and offer to God. 


It can be consumed even during fasting.
